Utah Sales Agent License Requirements
In order to obtain a Utah Real Estate Sales Agent License, applicants must:
1. Meet the statutory licensing qualifications of honesty, integrity, truthfulness, reputation, and competency.
2. Be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
3. Have a High School diploma or
equivalent.
4. Complete 120 hours of Sales Agent pre-licensing education; may be completed online, live, or both.
5. Pass the Sales Agent exam within one year from course completion date. Cost: $66.
6. Submit to the Division:
- Completed and signed application (issued by testing center after exam).
- Candidate Education Certifying Document, or Education Waiver issued by Division.
- Complete Qualifying Questionnaire at time of exam, and submit documentation for any “YES” answers. [Real Estate Qualifying Questions]
- Two fingerprint cards or receipt of electronic fingerprint submission and a signed Fingerprint Waiver (issued at the testing center).
- $152 non-refundable fee.
